  • SAT - (Auto Gradation, Shadow Adjustment Technology)
  • Large rear panel LCD - 2.7" HyperCrystal high-definition, high-contrast, wide-view LCD panel
  • Wireless flash - Multi-flash control
  • Shared features with the E-420

    • Reliable Dust Reduction System
    • 10-Megapixel Live MOS Sensor
    • Fast 3.5 fps sequential shooting
    • Image processing engine - TruePic III

    E-520 Specific features

    • Built-in image stabilization for max. 4 EV-step compensation
    • Stabilize images for vertical panning thanks to new IS Mode

The big brother to the E-420 brings 3 major features -

    1. Image Stabilization - IS greatly helps hold the lens steady in non ideal situations.
    2. Longer battery life - The E-520 can capture between 550 and 650 frames per charge, instead of 450-500, as on the E-420, from my experience.
    3. Underwater case - Underwater housing allows for a whole new world of photography.
