A lot of internet users sing praises for this lens, but tests show it actually isn't any sharper than the 14-42mm regular kit lens.
This is one of the few lenses on 4/3 that can do 1:1 macro, but the working distance is very short. Your subject will be less than 5cm from the lens. If you don't need 1:1 macro, the 50mm f/2 macro is going to be better at absolutely everything, except price.
